Hello!!! I am Denise, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in Florida, specializing in helping women who have spent years putting everyone else first, and are finally ready to come back to themselves.

I work with women across Florida via telehealth, and I offer sessions in both English and Spanish.

I offer compassion and validation, and I am not here to simply passively affirm. I will gently challenge patterns, beliefs, and behaviors that may be keeping you stuck. I share observations, reflect what I notice, and invite you to consider new perspectives and possible outcomes. My goal is to help you deepen self-awareness, make sense of your experiences, and make choices that align with your values and the life you want to create.

I hold a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Florida, an MBA from Georgia State University, and a law degree from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana — a background that shaped my analytical mind, but it was therapy that finally led me home to myself and to this work.

I love nature, movement, and connecting with others. I am grounded, authentic and curious about new experiences. Learning new ways to support my clients and my own journey drives a lot of what I do.

I am a member of the Florida Mental Health Counselors Association and committed to cultivating a space of diversity, inclusion, and connectedness.
