A little bit about me
I'm Denise, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in Florida, specializing in helping women who have spent years putting everyone else first, and are finally ready to come back to themselves.
I work with women across Florida via telehealth, and I offer sessions in both English and Spanish.
My approach is rooted in EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and somatic practices, modalities that go beyond talk therapy to help you process the deeper patterns driving your relationships and reconnect with who you truly are.
I hold a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Florida, an MBA from Georgia State University, and a law degree from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana — a background that shaped my analytical mind, but it was therapy that finally led me home to myself and to this work.
I am a proud member of the Florida Mental Health Counselors Association and committed to cultivating a space of diversity, inclusion, and connectedness.

My Services
Individual Therapy — $170
You've spent years showing up for everyone else. This is your space to finally show up for yourself. In our work together we'll untangle the patterns keeping you stuck — people-pleasing, anxious attachment, losing yourself in relationships — and help you reconnect with who you truly are. Sessions are available via secure telehealth across Florida in English or Spanish.
EMDR Intensive — $175/hour | 6 hours over three days
You're ready to go deep, immerse yourself, and break free from the patterns that have followed you for years. EMDR Intensives are designed for the busy, go-getting woman who can't always commit to weekly sessions but is serious about doing the work. In three focused days we'll target the roots of your anxiety, people-pleasing, and attachment wounds.
Couples Sessions — $200
Already doing your individual work and want your partner to understand your journey? I can support that conversation. Couples sessions are available as a complement to your individual therapy — keeping you at the center of the work while creating space for your partner to show up for you differently.
Payment Accepting cash, Venmo, Zelle, and all major debit and credit cards. I accept the following health insurances: Aetna, Cigna, Oscar Health, Oxford, and United Healthcare. Out of Network Superbills available upon request.
